Comfortable relaxed environment. Breakfast can get a little busy early doors but if you have time to sleep in then its more than comfortable. Locally good shopping at the shopping center, great foodhall, various shopping opportunities. Locally some good bars within walking distance or a simple Bolt taxi into Riga itself can be promising.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the location which, whilst stone throws away from city centre, still put us in the more quite part of the town not far from some nice parks and the airport. The hotel was recently opened and everything felt brand new. It had a good vibe and upon arrival we were greeted by the staff, who for most part seemed to be very young, but very polite and professional. The checkin was smooth and we quickly were able to get in to our room, which was well...

Really high-spec hotel and room. All beautifully decorated and presented, including public areas. Young staff on reception were friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Our twin apartment was small but top notch and very well equipped. It was handy to be able to get extra items such as pillows, toaster and iron from reception. On first impressions the area this side of the station where the hotel is located was not very nice. However, it was in fact safe and interesting, especially the markets....

The Konventa Sēta Hotel is centrally located. 35mins from the airport using bus 22. We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. It was a short 10mins walk. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city, the beautifully cobble streets just adds to the overall attractiveness. The hotel is made up of a cluster of old convent buildings with a courtyard linking them...

This proved to be a friendly, well appointed small hotel in a quiet area 10 mins walk from the Old Town. Rooms are tasteful suites with all mod cons, fast wifi, good bathrooms. Service is friendly and hepful, breakfasts were delicious and the little kitchenette well stocked with tea and coffee. Not cheap but good value for what you get. And it was a special weekend with the Midsummer Festival going on.
