"Overall a relatively nice stay, location is brilliant and a good price for breakfast included.
Improvements would be if there were more hooks/places to hang towels, the skirting boards were dirty, and our room was quite dark."

"Wonderful hotel, attentive staff, great location, very good value for a 4/6 bed suite, ideal for a family, spa facilities were excellent, indoor and outdoor pool, less than a ten minutes walk to a fantastic beach, Biarritz only 15 minutes drive away, also local buses just outside of the hotel. Local shops a short walk away. It is located on a golf course, we do not golf but the bonus was that it is set in beautiful grounds."

"Fast, effortless check-in and a clean room with all amenities. A short distance away from Gare de Biarritz and airport, and the hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from the bus stop.
Early morning call from jets on final approach to land at the airport could be a deal breaker for some, but the hotel is one of the least expensive in the area. Breakfast is up to the usual Campanile standard – good."

We stayed in the ground floor apartment with a bedroom and a sofa bed which I slept in. It was a great place for a single parent with two children. The two shower rooms were a blessing as was the kitchenette which helped keep breakfast and lunch at low cost.
The staff supplied advice, coffee and a few cables/plugs.

Really lovely hotel in a convenient location. A bit disappointing that fabulous rooftop pool doesnt have an adjacent bar. Rooftop restaurant looked great, but unfortunately the evening we wanted to eat in it there was no availability. In fairness to the hotel, they do recommend booking, but we assumed they'd always be able to find space for a hotel resident.
Lovely bedroom, everything you could ever wish for.

A great hotel 1 minute away from the hustle & bustle. Balcony room was large & immaculate & staff were friendly & helpful.
If you are driving be warned - parking is a nightmare. If you find a space leave the car there until you are ready to leave ! 24 hour parking is available 5 minutes away at a cost.

A return visit to Biarritz to take in some sea air! The hotel was situated right above the beach, but also two minutes from the main shopping street. We had paid extra for a balcony, but unfortunately it was rather too windy during our visit for us to take much advantage of it! Enjoyed a meal in the hotel's restaurant on our second night and a nightcap in the hotel bar.

This is such a lovely small hotel, situated in a great location set just back on one of the busy streets in Biarritz. It is right next to all the shops, bars & restaurants and the beach is just a short walk away. The daily market situated just across the road is full of really fresh produce and you can also sit for a coffee and a snack or a glass of wine if you prefer. Even though it is so close to everything it is not noisy.

The design is excellent with a stylish and relaxing and attractive shared area around the lobby (a patio, library, breakfast area). The service was great, our host booked a recommended restaurant for us. The room was well designed and clean and well appointed, and everything functioned flawlessly including fast wifi. Would highly recommend this place.
Parking was not included, but two reasonable parking buildings are nearby (10-15 euros). We luckily found street parking directly outside...

Lovely hotel right in the middle of the old town close to the beaches, shops and restaurants. We had a superior double room which was very spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. Whilst we didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel due the abundance of super cafe’s all within a few minutes walk of the hotel it was available and looked good. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great service, great location and a great place to relax in Biarritz

We got a last minute invitation to spend time with family in Biarritz. Normally we’d be concerned about having to make a hotel booking this close to the August busy season. We were so lucky to find the Hotel Maitagaria.
The hotel ideally suited our top priorities: quiet, quiet and quiet. In addition, though, Charming and eclectic furnishings, comfortable bed. Modern, cleanly styled bathroom. Balcony over looking the Jardin Public and a view of the ocean off in the distance.

Excellent location - very near the beach restaurants and the shops. Would definitely visit again and thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone
especially if you have a dog - its so nice to be somewhere where your pet is welcome. Just an aside the restaurant does not have a restaurant for dinner but has breakfast. There was not one...

Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to explore Biarritz City Centre is from January to March, when hotel prices are lower. For those on a budget, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city's significant landmarks and cultural offerings. Visitors can enjoy attractions such as the stunning coastline, the aquarium, and opportunities for surfing, whalewatching, kayaking, and fishing. Additionally, the local library and marina provide great value for money, making Biarritz an excellent choice for a cultural getaway without breaking the bank.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To explore potential last-minute deals to Biarritz City Centre, consider browsing the Dealsopens in new window or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates on hotels as your travel date approaches. Enabling email alerts or push notifications could keep you informed about flash sales and exclusive promotions, helping you take advantage of opportunities to save. Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool within the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you're well-informed. This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you're more likely to see them and can book your perfect getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay in a hotel in Biarritz City Centre. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more personalised experience and, at times, better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we will suggest alternative dates that may be more affordable, helping you to secure the best possible deal.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often tends to come at a higher price. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels situated a bit further out, which can offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
