"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Velario. The location was perfect—close to everything and just a short distance from the border. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean and comfortable throughout my stay. It felt safe and well-managed, and I’d definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tijuana"

"When we go to Tj we always love to stay at Lafayette!! Location is great, service is awesome "

"Excelente hotel, nice, clean and comfortable and perfect location to visit Tijuana"

"Nice room super clean, staff very nice !!"

"Overall satisfied with Staff and Cleanliness of property, with Cold air conditioning room. The only downfall was that there was no cable / signal on T.V at all in my 4nights that I, stayed and it seems to be a route for firefighter trucks who honk and drive by throughout the night on the main hotel street! but lobby has complimentary, hot coffee and fresh water cooler for guests. Will be back only if they can guarantee the cable / signal issue has be resolved! "

"Clean room, staff was pleasant. Great location for our time in Tijuana! I recommend."

"A kind of quiet and peaceful oasis in center of TJ, the lobby, rooms, and restaraunt are immaculate, and the staff is great. The free breakfast is an actual breakfast, not just Coffee and Donuts, and the coffee pot is on 24/7. The inner courtyard is walled and gated with parking in front of the rooms. I have been visiting Tijuana for 11 or 12 years now, and it is by far the single greatest hotel value in the city at this price point. I booked for 3 days initially, and stayed for11."

"Best hotel nearest to downtown Tijuana, its walking distance, good to knoe when drinking for 6 hours."

"In a days between picking up my fiance and going to Play del Carmen I had to kill a couple of days and this is my usual low-cost no frills. A very very basic stay in Tijuana which worked out fantastic. Watch plenty of Netflix. The Wi-Fi is good. They let you come and go as wish, but just know that you know you're not staying at the Ritz car accident and for heaven's sake please change those smoke detector batteries"
