Excellent hotel- they just get everything right, even dealing with problems. At one point we were miscommunicated breakfast time but the staff were so fantastic at dealing with the problem by ensuring that we were looked after that it not only wasn’t a problem - it was turned into a big positive. They take customer service very seriously. Excellent experience all round - other hotels could learn a lot. Great food. Lovely location. And very quiet l. All round well done !

The Konventa Sēta Hotel is centrally located. 35mins from the airport using bus 22. We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. It was a short 10mins walk. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city, the beautifully cobble streets just adds to the overall attractiveness. Clean room, friendly and helpful staff

What a lucky find, especially as we do not play golf! We chose the hotel based on reviews and location, and were not disappointed. Modern, well appointed, friendly staff, outstanding breakfast, nice restaurant (we had dinner there both nights; very relaxing) - and it's close to Riga airport We enjoyed our stay and would return. We had a comfortable stay at the Hotel, especially after an initial issue with our room was resolved. The location is excellent within walking distance of Riga Old Town, while the bus station is only around 5 minutes away, so we didn’t need to use public transport much. A special mention to Henry, who was absolutely wonderful. Lovely hotel, nice rooms, helpful staff and excellent breakfast! Very clean, nice decor. It is in the Art Nouveau area, which us definitely worth a look, and about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town through the park alongside the river that borders the city. Take a town walk with a guide - we went on a free walk, for which we tipped well - for Riga's interesting history. Lovely people as well. We loved it.

I really enjoyed my stay. The outside is very grand and the inside is stylish, contemporary and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding. My room was beautiful and the bed linen was the best I've ever encountered in a number of years travelling for work. Everywhere was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful although could perhaps have been a bit warmer. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Latvia.
