Location, character, history and service . The hotel is charming and unique. Our room was on two levels and therefore afforded good amount of space and a good degree of privacy between my daughter and I. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and owners. We arrived very early but they managed to prepare our room in 30 minutes and allowed us to check in 5 hours before scheduled check in time. Felt at home throughout our stay.
