"As it is a short walk to Amsterdam Centraal, the location is ideal for easy access to both trains and trams. Its staff are helpful. We chose to add in breakfast and the food was high quality with a wide variety of offerings. Amenities in the room were OK. Towels a bit skimpy. Overall, though, our stay was good."

"Great place to stay. Close to everything you need, but enough distance to feel a bit separated from the chaos of central Amsterdam. Front desk staff are fantastic!"

"Great stay! Located along the canal. We were able to utilize the hop on hop off canal ride to get to museums and train station and view the sites around the city. Also had bus service around the corner that was easy to use. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hair dryer did not work but it was replaced immediately. Would stay here again. Staff was also friendly and helpful."

"Excellent modern hotel in central Amsterdam n five minutes walk from central train station. It’s typical American style like a Sheraton. Not a lot of charm or character. Rooms are little small but perfectly comfortable for very expensive Amsterdam. Can walk to most places of interest in under thirty minutes.

Second year in a row staying at Jan Luyken with my wife. We love it, over ten years coming to Amsterdam and we now know for sure where we are staying every time.

What a gem. Hotel Fita is wonderful: the hotel itself is a beautiful traditional dutch house and because of this, it has a lift to help you get up those steep stairs! The hotel is in a quiet street just off the trams and buses for the Concertgebouw, so it's in a great area.
Our room was tastefully decorated and had high ceilings and a little balcony. There was no air conditioning but the fan worked well.
Beds were comfy with crisps clean sheets.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Work was being done to develop the dining area for breakfast but this did not affect our stay and we did not have breakfast at the hotel anyway. Think it will be a nice upgrade...

Even though it's a small hotel and we had 3 in the room, it felt very spacious. The decor was classy and the ceilings were high. We have stayed in much smaller 3-bed/family rooms and this one was really a relief. I stayed with my partner and our 5yr old.I picked this hotel because the rooms looked larger then comprable room and and thankfully the room matched my expectations.

The only noise was when the kind maids were cleaning in the evening but no problem with that..and some people slamming their doors in the evening which is so so bad. There was some dust around the bathroom which i wish wasn’t there but...

It was a short stay, but will definitely coming back to this same hotel! Really loved the service even though the elevator was not working on the day we arrived. They offered us to get our luggage up to our hotel room. The hotel itself, amazing location, 15-20 min walks to Centraal.

Hotel location is convenience - 5-8 mins walking to museums, 3-mins walking to supermarket and 5-10 mins walking to different kinds of restaurants nearby. The receptionist and concierge service are professional and polite. Room size for family is big enough and everything is clean. Only the room air-conditioner is not working, very hot in the night time.
