We have just had three nights at this hotel and it was a lovely stay. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony overlooking La Rambla. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the staff at the hotel are lovely. They made our stay better, so warm and welcoming. Also very professional and knowledgeable. They took time to point out the sights of Barcelona marking a street map whilst we checked in. This is an excellent hotel.

This hotel is an oasis of calm on the Ramblas. perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and may dining options near by and in the hotel itself. All the staff we spoke to had excellent English and were very professional and helpful. The room itself was very comfortable and clean.
My only comment is that more water should be provided in the rooms, one small bottle between two people isn't enough.

We had stayed in an H10 hotel previously and been impressed so that, the location and reviews made this an easy choice.
Great position near the Cathedral and walking distance to many eateries. The streets felt perfectly safe even late in the evening. The rooftop bar has fantastic views, the room was great and the staff super friendly. And the breakfast was amazing. Getting the idea?
Couldn't fault it.

The Neri met our highest expectations. Set in a quiet, narrow carrer by the cathedral and overlooking a small square with a tragic history, the building itself dates from the twelfth century yet offers all the comforts and style one would hope to find. Room design, furnishings and equipment all up to a high standard; staff service exemplary.
I registered just one complaint: public areas, library/breakfast room and restaurant have piped muzak entirely out of keeping with the surroundings and...

Lovely rooftop terrace and wonderful staff throughout the hotel. Would have liked a kettle with tea and coffee options and not just an espresso machine. Location is perfect with many dining options and great shopping. Amazing vegan and vegetarian options nearby. Would definitely return.

Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you find better rates for your stay in a Ciutat Vella hotel. If you're in search of something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. If the price is on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could potentially lead to more affordable options.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation near key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For those seeking more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, where you can balance cost with accessibility to your intended destinations. You might also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to be budget-friendly and can offer a more authentic experience.
