"Hotel Abaco is quirky, charming and authentic. It was very convenient for us to walk around Florence, and is very close to lots of restaurants, cafes, museums, and wonderful small shops. In fact, for a busy few days as a tourist in Florence it could not be better. OK - it's old, and you have to climb 55 stone stairs to it (it's on the 2nd floor) but it would not be authentic otherwise. La Signora who runs it was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting!"
