"After a disastrous experience at previous hotel, hotels.com rebooked us to this hotel in the middle of the night. Upon arrival the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and delicious everyday. Room was cleaned and well stocked and location was perfect. Short walk to the main station, the beach and the old town with lots of great restaurants nearby."

"Great location. Large clean and comfortable rooms, with recently renovated bathroom with 2 sinks, shower and separate tub. Amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. They have the best coffee in the Cote d’Azure, and the fresh squeezed orange juice was an unexpected treat. Highly recommend this hotel."

"Very clean rooms, fresh furniture, good beds, small but very clean and practical (also newly renovated) bathrooms, daily cleaning and on top of all very helpful personnel at reception. Also, close to the central station in Nice, and the main shopping street and 20-25 min walking to the beaches. a great place to stay also if you enjoy local restaurants and you will skip the tourist traps with high prices."

Hotel was in an excellent position, just a block back from Promenade des Anglais, near a couple of decent restaurants on the front and less than a mile from the old town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful with storing the luggage, advising honestly about places to go and how to get there. Breakfast (extra cost) was what we needed - cereals, cold meat and cheese, boiled eggs, some fruit and croissants etc. There's a supermarket over the road for anything else you need. Our room was excellent...

Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Arome. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always willing to answer questions or offer recommendations.
The location was also a big plus. There are several public transport stops nearby, so it was easy to get around Nice without any hassle. Overall, it was a great place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and welcoming hotel in Nice.

Beautiful hotel, fabulous bedroom, great shower and toiletries and amazing breakfast. Staff both on reception and breakfast room were so friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in an ideal spot, a short walk to the tram station, seafront and restaurants.

We stayed here for 5 days and found it good value for a short break in Nice. It is close to a street of shops and restaurants that then leads on to the Old Town. The staff of this hotel are all helpful, friendly and they speak excellent English.
Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed and an efficient shower. Breakfast is unusually generous for a French hotel with items like scrambled eggs, sausages and a cake of the day. We had free glass of wine with our booking and we enjoyed this in...

Nice is lively and bursting with personality and this Hotel provides a great location for exploring it all. You are walking distance from the vibrant Promenade and Beach. (5 mins) Equally good for the station where we took a day trip to Monaco during our stay. The atmospheric Old Town is a little further but still only about a 10 minute walk away.
Fabulous restaurants all over the place.

The staff are amazing and incredibly helpful. They’re patient, welcoming, and happy to help with a smile on their faces. The room was super clean and had air conditioning, which made the stay even more comfortable. The place is spotless, and you can top up your coffee and tea whenever you like. Such a lovely place overall- I honestly couldn’t recommend it more!

This hotel is a real gem. It is under new management and has been completely refurbished before reopening at the end of June 2018. Bathrooms, beds, pillows etc are all of high quality. The management and staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Promenade des Anglais and just a few minutes from the main tourist areas. Room was bigger than we expected with a great bathroom. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. No air conditioning in the room but luckily it’s not too hot yet. The hotel is in a quiet area which feels safe but still near to the beach and easy walk to central and old Nice. Less than 5 minutes walk to a main metro stop. Staff were friendly and polite. Would recommend and would happily stay here again

Lovely hotel, the staff are really charming and we had an upgrade to a superior room when we arrived. For me, the 12 euros for breakfast wasn't really worth it- only as I don't eat a lot for breakfast- but there is the option to have express breakfast which is cheaper. The salon is very pretty and has magazines and papers and a piano (which you are welcome to play!). There are a few extras that you'd expect from a much higher rated establishment- ie room service for breakfast, you can order a...

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at this property. Can’t fault it. The staff are the true gem here, so accommodating and go beyond the call of duty to ensure a fabulous stay. The decor is tasteful and breakfast good value for money. Close to everything but not in a busy dubious side street. This hotel is a real gem and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Otero in March 2016. The retro boutique style of the whole place is fantastic with amazing attention to detail. Our room was a good size for us and our toddler daughter. The room was generally very clean with room service provided every day. The hotel manager was very attentive to setting up a cot for us in our room when we arrived and making sure our daughter had somewhere comfortable to sleep. Located a short walk from the beach and restaurants, on a busy main road so there is traffic noise but it is in heart of the City so not unexpected.
Room was spacious, clean with fresh towels and bedding each day. Aircon was efficient.
While there was a kettle with tea and coffee only one breakfast tea and fruit tea replenished each day, would have been nice to have a couple more. I am sure if we asked they would have been provided.
Staff very friendly, reception is small but how much time do...

Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could help you save on your stay at the Saint Philippe hotel. For those seeking distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalised experience and possibly better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to enhance your chances of securing a better deal.
Consider your location: Opting for accommodation closer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sights you intend to visit. You could also look into independent hotels situated further out, as they are usually more likely to be affordable while providing a more authentic experience.
