"The location is amazing (although at the moment the Ramblas is a mess) close to Metro stations to help you get around. Walkable to the Gothic quarter and the market. The staff were very helpful. The only negative thing was the room was small and a bit tight when you have large suitcases."

"Very conveniently located right next to a major train station for public transportation. The staff was extremely helpful when our AC unit was not working one day and helping us make a reservation at a Costa Brava beach club. Clean, well appointed and very comfortable bed."

"This hotel was simply perfect. We stayed for just two nights and two full days, but there wasn't a single thing to fault: the staff were friendly, the breakfast was amazing, and the rooms were clean, beautiful, and spacious—we were beyond satisfied. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it a 15! 😉 Thank you; if we’re ever in Barcelona again, we’ll definitely be back."

Came here for a business trip over 3 days. The service was incredible from start to finish, everyone was so kind and helpful.
The room was spotless, all of the toiletries smelt incredible.
The rooftop pool is small and a perfect temperature. This was a welcome oasis after a long day. I often got the whole roof to myself!
This was the best bed I’ve ever slept in, and hope to come and stay here again very soon.

My husband and I stayed at Casa Camper Barcelona hotel from 3 May to 7 May for 4 nights. We were having the most comfortable stay and would come back again definitely.
Exceptional staffs - We were most welcomed from arriving, Miriam introduced everything in details and even walked us to our rooms on fifth floor. During our stay, all staffs (from reception to kitchen) in the hotel are very friendly and could not have been more helpful.

The hotel is stylish, quiet, clean and in a super-convenient location, within walking distance of sights and great places to eat and drink. We especially loved the Gothic quarter, the cathedral, the Sagrada Familia and other Gaudi buildings. The staff are professional and charming - nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

A perfect stay. Arrived early and got checked in by 12:30pm. Great local tips from receptionist about where to go and mentioning finer details like best stop for Park Güell to limit stair climb etc.
Lovely room which fitted bill and clean. Could also airplay Netflix or YouTube via phone / tablet to tv if you want to one evening too. Two lifts so never need to wait too long.
Location is good. Five mins walk from Plaza Catalunya and next door to a big Lidl. Quiet street so no issues sleeping...

We have just checked out after 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. The breakfast is really fantastic, the breakfast waitresses and the reception staff are lovely - so friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent and the free wine and cheese at 6.30pm every evening was a nice touch. The rooftop pool and bar area is lovely. It is easily walkable to everywhere. We can’t think of anything negative to say at all. It is a really wonderful boutique hotel and we would highly recommend it to anyone.

A brilliant place with an excellent location, superb staff and comfortable accommodation. The breakfasts were great and there is a great tapas bar associated with the hotel. The dinner menu is Catalonian and the food is great although on the expensive side.

This hotel is an oasis of calm on the Ramblas. perfect location for sightseeing, shopping and may dining options near by and in the hotel itself. All the staff we spoke to had excellent English and were very professional and helpful. The room itself was very comfortable and clean.
My only comment is that more water should be provided in the rooms, one small bottle between two people isn't enough.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Hamza House. Check-in at Hotel California was excellent — the staff were so welcoming, offered us refreshments and stored our bags until the room was ready.
The room was lovely and comfortable. The only small issue was a broken shower handle, which reception were very happy to have fixed after we mentioned it.
Hamza House is a little off the beaten track, so next time we would probably stay at Hotel California itself purely for convenience. Overall, excellent...

Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so having some flexibility with your travel dates could potentially help you find a more affordable stay in a hotel in Downtown Barcelona. For those seeking something distinctive, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we can suggest alternative dates that might help you discover a more attractive option.
Consider your location: Choosing accommodation near key attractions or city centres may provide greater convenience, but it often tends to come with higher prices. For more budget-friendly options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and ease of access to the sites you wish to explore.
