"We stayed in the Junior suite at this hotel and thought it was great. Lovely, big space. Nice shower. We used the gym and thought that was very good for a hotel gym. The breakfast was very nice with many good things you could order in addition to the buffet. We liked the location of the hotel- a little bit tucked away but still close to the city center. Would stay here again!"

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Only adverse comment would be in terms of the limited menu and also that even the limited menu wasn’t always available."

"Was really impressed with this hotel! It’s in a great location with no more than a 10 minute walk to the Christmas market! The staff were super friendly and even offered us some umbrellas to take out for the day with us as it was raining."

"A great overnight stop. We had a basic double with breakfast and it was perfect for our needs. The room and bathroom were small but spotless and breakfast was plentiful.
One tip if using public transport from the station, use 132 or 133 buses as they are more frequent and stop closest to hotel."

This hotel offers a range of rooms in different sizes. I chose the smallest single deluxe room as a solo traveller, and it was perfect for me. If you can look past the small size, it has everything you need & it was furnished to a good modern standard - especially the bathroom. Reception desk employees are very friendly and helpful. The area is quite central with several local shops and restaurants nearby, as well as Heumarkt station which is one stop away from Neumarkt, Schildegasse etc.

„It is a great place to stay in Cologne. However, it would be much more convenient for guests if their room key cards automatically included access to the toilets and kitchen on the reception floor. Currently, every visit to these areas requires a receptionist to manually grant access. Although reception is technically 24/7, staff members are not always at the desk because they have other duties to attend to.“

my experience in Cologne was very good. Everything that appealed to me to go and visit was in walking distance from my hotel. Overall the food and atmosphere the city provided was excellent and the hotel staff were outstanding, I hope to come back in 2018.

Good location, parking next door with EV charging.
One very small complaint was that the sink didn't drain. As we were only there one night, we didn't complain about it but really should have made them aware.

This is a very welcome hotel which is conveniently located a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute tram ride from the city centre. The street it is located on is a pleasant working street, containing plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. The other end of the street, Chlodwigplatz is a busy hive of activity which is well worth visiting on foot. The tram network will get you everywhere in any event.

I stayed at this hotel in Cologne and overall had a very good experience. The room was relatively small, but it was clean and well maintained. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful with anything I needed, which made the stay much more comfortable.
The only thing I would have preferred is a small fridge in the room, as it would have been really convenient.

I stayed with my three kids at the hotel in a spacious room with a beautiful view of the Rhein and the Dom. It is conveniently located to explore the centre. The breakfast was outstanding with an incredible choice! Warm options as well as various cereals, good selection of Broetchen (bread rolls) and other pastries, jams and even three kinds of honey!!

This hotel is very accessible, with tram station nearby. There is a supermarket and dm in one minute walk. Staff are lovely and helpful. I didn’t have breakfast there, it costs €16. Overall it’s a lovely hotel.

Excellent stay, hotel staff very helpful, professional and friendly. Perfect location, near to all the popular landmarks, we didn't have to pay for for travel once! Only negative would be that the wifi connection is only strong in the waiting area near the reception. It didn't work in our rooms. Apart from that, its definitely a place where I would stay again!

We had an apartment which was so spacious. Couldnt fault the room. Had everything we needed. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Only thing we didnt get told is we needed to tell them if we wanted fresh bedding or towels but for a 2 night stay this didnt bother us. Excellent location.

Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience, but it often comes with higher costs. For more affordable options, you might consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and accessibility to the sites you intend to visit. You could also look into independent hotels located further out, which are usually more likely to offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
