"Excellent hotel. Clean and modern. Good pool and wonderful breakfast. Unfortunately there was a lot of construction in the area so it was impossible to walk anywhere. Otherwise an excellent stay."

"The rooms are always clean and spacious, check in is always easy and being a pet friendly place is a plus. Oh also free parking and so close to downtown is a plus."

"My husband and I had a lovely stay at Château Versailles. The hotel has a charming, elegant atmosphere with beautiful classic décor that made our stay feel special.
The staff was warm, friendly, and always willing to help. We also appreciated the excellent location, which made it easy to explore Montréal's attractions, restaurants, and shops.
If you're looking for a cozy boutique hotel with character and outstanding service, Château Versailles is a wonderful choice. We would be happy to stay...

"Charming old world bungalow with creaky uneven stairs. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is good. Close to McGill Campus and downtown. What more does one need!"

Jean-Talon Market
8.0/10 (1 review)
If you like haggling for the best price, you might want to head out to Jean-Talon Market in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie and take in the atmosphere. There are also lots of shops and restaurants in the area if you fancy a wander. Splash some more cash at Plaza St-Hubert.
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie is home to Church of the Madonna della Difesa, so why not stop by during your stay in Montreal? Let yourself be amazed at the art galleries and cathedral in the area too. It's also full of great shops and restaurants, so you can spend the afternoon having a wander. Montreal has lots of other popular landmarks that you might want to see, such as Old Port of Montreal.
If you're planning a bit of sightseeing, head to Dante Park – just one of the monuments in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie. Montreal has lots of other significant landmarks that you might want to visit, such as Old Port of Montreal.
Away from the city centre, but room was quiet, well appointed (including an iMac on the desk), soft bed and clean enough to pass for new. Good breakfast, in a clean bright environment. Staff were caring (offering water on a hot day) and very helpful - including a list of recommended eateries locally in the suburbs. Would use again.

Fantastic small hotel, the idea has been to linked two victorian houses together and renovate it as a Hotel by keeping the architectural features of the time which gives it a warm atmosphere. Montreal has destroyed most of its architectural patrimony on Sherbrooke Street by lack of vision and it is super nice to see this and to be able to experience it as well.

Staff very helpful, Good breakfast. Easy to walk to shops and the metro. Three blocks from the airport bus drop off. Mount Royal two blocks behind the hotel.

Really lovely, comfortable large room, just as it looked on the website. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great location. The only downside was that the WiFi was a bit flaky in our part of the building. Would certainly stay again when we visit Montréal.

There are many benefits at the Sandman Hotel Longueuil. If travelling by car, the complimentary car park is a real benefit. Travelling into Montreal is easy as the hotel is next door to the metro station (although as it is in Zone B it is slightly more expensive than travelling on the main island). The swimming pool and gym facilities are good ( there is also a sauna). We had a King room on floor 16 which had a superb view of the St Lawrence River and Parc Jean Drapeau. Reception staff were...

Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby and the subway station is just a couple of blocks down the road where you can get a direct line to Downtown/Old Montreal. Plenty of parking spaces available at the hotel.
We had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Spent seven nights here in October and would definitely stay here again. We arrived early and was hoping to leave our luggage but the reception staff offered to check the status of our room and we were able to check in early. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The room was clean and very spacious, the bed was lovely and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning was very welcome and works very well. The 747 bus stops very close by which...

Good location with a metro station only round the corner.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Bar never seems to be open but not a problem in city. Stores can’t sell alcohol after 11.00pm

Good location, clean and pleasant. Our room had a lovely view of the city. Walkable.
However, getting from the metro to the hotel with luggage was not easy as the access into the hotel is either a long walk round or via a long flight of stairs.

Great location, easy access to the Metro. Staff, especially the valet were excellent, they carried out cases to the top floor quickly as there is no lift. Used the valet parking which was well worth it. Good breakfast although the room is small and gets busy. Overall excellent would stay again.

Lovely authentic property in the Old Town, so great location. Nice room and bathroom, friendly staff. Didn’t eat in the restaurant but think it was really good. Nice little bar for pre-dinner drinks. The only tweaks needed- breakfast in a basket a nice concept but a little too pared back. My room didn’t have a full length mirror, just the mirror over the basin, and a better quality hairdryer should provided in a hotel of this standard and price bracket.
