"Cheap stay with good breakfast. Tram stop just outside. Room and beds were OK and decent shower. Hotel and room were cold, so need to turn on and crank up the heating. "

"Small single room at rear of hotel, clean with all basic amenities, the bathroom was ok, functional but a little tired looking. The hotel was clean and inviting and the staff were friendly. It is ideally located with the town centre only a 10 min walk. I have stayed there a number of times over the years and find it a good safe bet. The only downside I would note is that the car parking is no longer free for guests..just saying! "

"We were in the annex, which was a large house next door to the hotel. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and were a great size. "

"Hotel is shabby and needs repairs carrying out. Please check the bedding and mattress extremely carefully if you decide to stay here. We had to leave in the middle of the night because of unsanitary conditions. Absolutely would not recommend this hotel at all."

"The check in was efficient and friendly. As a female checking in on my own, it was good the receptionist pointed to my room number and didn’t call it out. A small but significant and appreciated factor. The room had a well designed layout, with a tiled and carpeted area. There was an iron and ironing board, safe, hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities all in the room along with a huge TV. The room was quiet, I couldn’t hear other guests in their rooms or the traffic outside. The bed was comfy and I enjoyed having a comfortable sofa seating area along with a great desk space. The bathroom was lovely with both an over head monsoon shower and a detachable shower head. Great lighting too. All staff were friendly. At both breakfast and dinner my dietary requirements were catered for. Staff appeared well informed on this. Overall a great stay. Thank you"

"Was slightly upset on afew things such as read they had wheelchair accessible parking for 6 i think but had no disabled bays cars parked in free for all had to leave keys at reception incase needed to be moved. Also said step free entrance which was also not the case and struggled to get to entrance for how cars were parked. Bed seemed like a small double which was rock hard next morning stripped the bed as we always do and wish hadnt when we see the state of the covers.and flooring very uneven. Guess we just picked up on things for disabled so may not be an issue for non disableds."

"Windows were so dirty you couldn’t see the beach well. There was a dirty chip on the floor of bedroom from a previous customer. Entrance and stairs were in poor condition, with general public able to access the corridors for the bedrooms and the room keys were not needed. Position was ideal. Hotel needs updating desperately. "
