Beautiful bed and breakfast. Rooms were very clean with lovely high ceilings and a 'shabby chic' vibe. Staff we very helpful and informative. Would definitely stay again.

A perfect stay. Arrived early and got checked in by 12:30pm. Great local tips from receptionist about where to go and mentioning finer details like best stop for Park Güell to limit stair climb etc. Lovely room which fitted bill and clean. Could also airplay Netflix or YouTube via phone / tablet to tv if you want to one evening too. Two lifts so never need to wait too long. Location is good. Staff were amazing, some of the most lovely people we’ve met! This hotel made our holiday an 11/10! The bed was so comfy, we slept so well! The air-con was bliss, and the cold water stations were so helpful.

This place was wonderful. Based very close to the Gothic quarter of Barcelona, close to the Arc de Trionf (Yes, there is another one!) with fantastic staff who were both friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are thoughtfully decorated and the service is great. The terrace is lovely for relaxing in the sun, and the breakfast spread was delicious, with lots of organic homemade products and a coffee machine available to use 24/7. Overall fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

This is a clean, very centrally located hotel with interesting decor. My rear ward facing room was incredibly quiet with the front desk team being very welcoming at check in and each time I left and returned to the hotel.

We stayed three nights. The hotel is in a great position - very close to Caso Batllo, and a nice easy walk through the main shopping district into town. Lots of wonderful architecture nearby. I don't normally consider staying at hotels I have been to before, but would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed 5 nights at the Retrome. From there we walked to all the sights that we wanted to see. It's 10 minutes walk from the Sagrada Familia, the same from La Pedrera and Casa Battló, and 20 minutes from the centre of the Gothic Quarter and the seafront. Just returned from a fantastic 4 nights stay. It was a pre birthday treat for my hubby without the kids!! And it was our Anniversary while we stayed so this made everything extra special.
