"Another amazing stay at Harbour Beach Club, it’s the best location being on South Sands Beach with ferry and shuttle into Salcombe,
Or a walk into Salcombe itself. Rooms are fabulous, especially the seas facing rooms, spas good and the restaurant and staff are great"

"Unique set up, stayed in a room which was around the back of the hotel in a separate building. Like a small contained flat.
Nice and clean. Basic but everything you need for a short stay.
Reception closes at 8.30pm but staff were happy to leave a key and instructions.
Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment."

The best welcome I've ever had in any commercial place of stay - better than some friends!
Beautifully done, lovely touches everywhere and wonderfully thoughtful service.
Thanks you!

The host went to a lot of trouble to provide breakfast, returning after we had checked in with fresh bread and cookies as there were none there. Cereal, milk, spread, jam and marmalade were there already.
It was immaculately clean.
We were asked to let them know 30 mins before arrival and they were waiting for us. Check out was simple leaving the keys in the post box.
I would not hesitate to stay there again if I the area.

We were travelling with a dog and stayed in one of the ground floor rooms. The room we had was fine for our overnight stay. It was comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly towards us and our dog and we were made very welcome. Evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast.
We can recommend this hotel especially if you want to stay somewhere with some character.

Great location near Plymouth Hoe & lovely walk to Barbican area. Hotel staff very friendly and accomadating. Breakfast to die for, great selection of hot food and very well cooked. Small car park but good system for fitting them all in. Definitely worthy of a return visit if in the area again.

I really enjoyed my 3 nights at the Wilcove and can't praise it enough. My room was spacious, clean and had a wonderful view. The food in the restaurant is top notch and and the beer garden is relaxing. This hotel is also in a great location.

Everything was good and recommend to others. Only downside was the bath was rather difficult to get out of. We had an evening meal at the Weary Traveller and it was very good.

Booked this hotel for a 2 night stay as it was close to saltram House, and because it was dog friendly.
The rooms are set out so that the ground floor doors open out into the car park which I found brilliant for my dog. The room itself was lovely. Well equipped and the comfiest bed ever. The fact the bathroom had a bath as well as a shower was a huge bonus.
The staff are amazing. Helpful and friendly. And the buffet breakfast was one of the best I have ever had. Would highly recommend this...

This way, if rooms become available or prices drop, you could be among the first to know and secure your ideal getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a better rate at Southway Hotel. For those in search of distinctive accommodations, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised experience and may offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Consider your location: Staying nearer to major attractions or city centres may offer convenience, but it often comes with higher expenses. For more budget-friendly options, you might want to consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You could also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, as they usually tend to be more affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
