We had a lovely stay at the moorland! The staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and pleasant to sleep in :) there is a handy bar and restaurant within the hotel which we had pre booked a table at & the food was great! They also allow your dogs to stay which is another great feature. As to the local area, we only stayed at the hotel as stop pit so didn't get to explore the surroundings but it did look very peaceful & tranquil and would be great for walkers! Highly...

We ended up staying at the property in the super cute shepherds hut as a real last minute get away and we couldn’t have had a nicer place to stay. From check in to check out everything was really easy and the host Sharon was such a warm and helpful host. Lovely apartment in Royal William yard, easy check in process. Lots of lovely eateries near by. The apartment is beautiful, the bed super comfy, the whole place warm and cosy. As in the description there are no curtains or blinds at the windows due to planning regulations - so if you're a light sleeper take an eye mask. The stairs up to be mezzanine bedroom are narrow and steep, not a problem for us but could potentially be difficult.
