Very high standard of service. Simple but high quality rooms with extremely comfortable 5 star standard beds, pillows and sheets. The restaurant is surprisingly good and they cater for gluten intolerances. You can use the beach shuttle from the Hilton across the road to the gorgeous Falesia beach with beach club. As a single traveller I felt very welcome here and liked the quiet pool area. Reception staff are charming and helpful. Very good value and well located hotel.

The hotel was comfortable, clean and bright. It's main 'attraction' for me was not the waterpark, (which is included in the price and is excellent), but it's staff. They rescued us by sending my daughter's mobile phone in a taxi, to the airport when we realised two hours before departure that she had unfortunately left it in the room!
Food at the hotel was reasonable and there were local restaurants a short stroll away from the hotel.
Two drawbacks are that there is no free wifi in the rooms...

It surpassed all of our expectations I love the shower and deep bath tub . The staff were extremely kind, courteous and professional and went the extra mi. Receptionist able to deal with any requests and always with a smile no problem to big or small for the VDL staff. Great hotel about 2 or 3 minutes from the beach. The room and pool were great, didn't have the breakfast so can't comment. We had a late evening flight home but they allowed us to use a room for a shower before heading to the airport which was very helpful. It didn't affect us, but the hotel is located on a very steep hill for anyone who is less mobile.

Hotel was lovely and clean, breakfast was delicious (including: pancakes, fruit, full English, breads, pastries, hot drinks and juices). Hotel was practically on the beach. The loungers on the beach weren’t free which was a little disappointing considering the price. The beach was beautiful, nice sand and a little rocky in parts. Locals were lovely, much quieter than Vilamoura as the area was more a native Portuguese holiday area. Amazing holiday- would return!!!

Good points: Lots of space, an extremely well equipped kitchen, clean, largeTV & a DVD player, apartments generally finished to a high standard, no shortage of sun loungers at pool, secure car park, good wifi.

Lovely clean apartments.....great jacuzzi and pool. Ideal for a quiet holiday. Small square with a supermarket,handful of restaurants and a couple of shops but nothing else! Bus stop to albufeira.....not Vilamoura..however you can catch bus to olhas do agua (next village) and then catch faro bus which calls at vilamoura, quarteira etc...tourist information don't tell you this as they want to sell you their shuttle service (much more expensive!)
