"Rooms were great, clean and staff were friendly and very helpful. Although there were some maintenance going on, they were very quiet and do not cause any issues or noise. "

Just keep in mind the "ground" floor in this hotel in floor number 6 so if you like to get a good view i believe it's better to book rooms in the upper floors.
Overall, the hotel have a perfect locations where you are on the famous Victoria street directly and close to Edinburgh castle and have alot of good restaurants around it.
