This is a great place to stay in Torquay. We were met with a lovely warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't do enough for us and our 1 year old. We will definitely be returning.

The oily minor whinge would be fit towel heated towel rails or offer clean towels the second day

From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was compact, well equipped and comfortable. In the evening we enjoyed a good meal in the restaurant whilst breakfast was a delight.

We’ve stayed here before and find it perfect near to kingsbridge and beaches.

Well worth the visit, fab location and lovely country hotel. The restaurant is worth a visit as great local food cooked to perfection.

Had a really lovely 3 day stay in garden room. Room was beautifully furnished, and really clean. Had own entrance that led out on to amazing, very well maintained garden. Owners were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Great location for exploring Dartmouth and surrounding area. Will definitely be back.

We ended up staying at the property in the super cute shepherds hut as a real last minute get away and we couldn’t have had a nicer place to stay. From check in to check out everything was really easy and the host Sharon was such a warm and helpful host. When we arrived Sharon explained everything we needed for a great stay including some really helpful local knowledge about where to eat etc. The shepherds hut is set in the most tranquil and beautiful setting which resulted in a real restful...

One of the prettiest views anywhere in England from the balcony overlooking the estuary. Rooms are well decorated, spacious and have free gin. What’s not to like?

Have just enjoyed a 3 night stay with a friend. Beautiful hotel in unique location in quiet South Sands beachy cove. Lots of ways to get to Salcombe town centre either walking (a bit hilly), hotel shuttle car or water ferry. Rooms have stunning decor and bathrooms are very well appointed. Service throughout the hotel is excellent and very friendly. Enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant. Good value & again great service throughout but with particular mention of lovely service...

The house in Salcombe was beautiful and had everything we needed and a bit more! Beds were so comfortable. The views were incredible from every window in the house. Perfect location for visiting the town which is short walk away and also going out of town to visit other places. A truly gorgeous scenic area.

This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas...
