Nice boutique hotel (11 rooms only), very well maintained and very friendly helpful staff. Hotel is located on the Marina Grande area which is very quiet and facing the sea which can be seen from the upper levels of the hotel. We booked our honeymoon at Villa Fiorella and it exceeded all expectations! The staff were very helpful with local excursions - we took the boat for 50 euros each to Capri which included a tour round the island and 4/5 hours to venture on our own too. It is a beautiful hotel, situated a few minutes walk from Sorrento centre. It is on the cliff edge, so the views of Sorrento, Naples and Vesuvius were amazing. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have stayed in when travelling. The hotel has recently been refurbished so looks amazing. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Being a Michelin star restaurant, all the food was exceptional. Even breakfast was a huge step up from any hotel you normally eat in! A truly great hotel all round....

Beautiful property, staff extremely helpful in all aspects. Several weddings took place whilst we were there but they had no impact on our stay and rooms are extremely well soundproofed so no disturbances from the weddings at all.

The hotel was wonderful, the grounds and inside beautiful all facilities were superb. Breakfast was lovely with loads of choice and all waiters really took care and looked after us. We have just returned after a week at the hotel. We enjopyed our stay. We had a garden view room (312). It overlooked the pool and garden. Beyond were the mountains we thought it an excellent view. We stayed B&B. there was plenty of choice for breakfast, it was all very relaxed. We stayed again at the Grand Royal during the last week of October. The fact that we have stayed here before speaks volumes for the quality of this hotel. The warm welcome and helpful staff from arrival through to departure was exceptional. Our spotlessly clean room overlooked the gardens as well as superb views over the bay of Naples and Versuvio. I find some hotels in this bracket a bit pretentious, but that wasn't the case here. The manager (I assume) was really friendly when we checked in and made us feel very welcome. The rest of the staff were very friendly too. The large roof terrace has a nice bar and fantastic views towards Vesuvius. There is also a nice ground floor bar with roadside terrace. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly Paulo who was amazing with his local knowledge and expertise on trips, sights and events to do. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful The hotel was beautifully clean It was situated a little out of the way but you get a feel for the real Italy, I am a female solo traveller who felt safe exploring the local area.

We had a lovely time, really enjoyed our stay. The staff were wonderful, the food was excellent, the accommodation was very good. The view from our balcony was great but didn't take in Vesuvius but we did get a great view across the bay.

We had a basic room which WAS basic but very clean (basic meaning dated) we stayed 4 days and the room cleaning service was excellent, breakfast was continental, WiFi was a bit hit and miss but okish, no SKY in the basic rooms,, ideally situated for Pompeii as its literally across the road, didn't know until we got there that entry is free every 1st Sunday of the month.
