We absolutely loved our overnight stay at La Ferme de Marpalu. It was just perfect. The hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. The room was beautiful with everything we needed. Breakfast was a treat with the best croissants we had in our whole two weeks in France. A perfect end to our stay. We would recommend to anyone.

This independent hotel has been refurbished and offers a great base for visiting Chateau de Chambord and the central Loire Valley. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and air conditioned. Free parking on site and even the option of an EV charger (7KwH). I would also recommend for a stop over too. The level of serve was a rare treat too. Light menu is also available in the evening too.

Bravo! Delightful stay at the Clos Elisa. Comfortable, immaculate, spacious room, smartly decorated in the style of the Loire. A gracious host who served a delicious home made breakfast and was a pleasure to deal with. The pool and spa were immaculate and a lovely way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Fabulous hotel - loved our stay

Fantastic peaceful location, best breakfast, lovely hosts.

Great staff and accommodation. Beautiful setting with views everywhere. Just an overall great stay and very relaxing. We stayed at 4 other places during our trip and this was the best.

The property is ideally located for visiting the chateaus. It was bright, clean & well equipped. The manager was pleasant & helpful

A special thank you to Natacha. Our car broke down a day before our ferry crossing. She organised a garage to collect our car, arranged a hire car, moved a great deal of luggage and arranged for some of its storage, found us another room in the hotel for the night and all with quiet, calm efficiency, alacrity, kindness and an excellent sense of humour which diffused a very stressful day. Other staff members was also extremely helpful and kind.

The room was not only clean but had nice touches with decor and a super bath. Beautiful pool area with choice of seating, deck chairs and sunbeds with side tables. Friendly and helpful staff - great stopover with every breakfast desire.

Brilliant hotel, with wonderful rooms and incredible staff. You must eat in the restaurant- the food in the evenings is incredible, we were amazed at how good it was. This is truly a gem of a hotel, if you are in the area stay here, you will not find a better hotel,

We liked the welcome, the room was good. The supply of curtesy coffee and tea was limited and had no milk which for English tastes is disappointing. The restaurant next door was good and the breakfast was good.

Lovely property, close to restaurants

We just wanted somewhere to base ourselves for 3nights in the Loire while en route to the dordogne . We just needed a hotel which provided a clean, comfortable room at a good price, no frills. This is exactly what we got. The room was a good size with bathroom and separate toilet. It was cleaned daily. The staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast at 8.50 euros was simple but plentiful: croissants, bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt and selection of drinks. Bracieux itself was a nice village...

Lovely place, clean and tidy and the evening meal was fabulous.

A total gem.

Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

JP is a wonderful host. The accommodation is excellent for families with kids and for anyone, there is a small game room and farm animals, and a special dog named Marcel. You can feel that there was a lot of thinking about everything. Our kids will probably remember this 2 nights stay as the highlight of our 2 weeks trip.
