Beautiful boutique hotel in a picture perfect village with wonderful views. The owners were so friendly, the room was perfect and the breakfast was excellent.

Wow just wow , I ve been fortunate enough to stay in some nice hotels around the world , and Chateau de Marvel is up there with the best. The Chateau is stunning , and set in a great position to explore the local tourist attractions and Dordogne. We chose this hotel as a one night stopover on our way South. Right in the centre of Domme, the hotel is well maintained in a beautiful old building with fabulous views over the Dordogne valley. As vegetarians we were also delighted to find a welcoming little Pizzeria just away from the centre of town, an essential plus.

We had a fantastic stay at Domaine Le Malet. The surroundings are truly beautiful. The host was very friendly. There were a couple of things that could have been improved as feedback for the host - 1. Communication at breakfast. We weren't aware we were able to bring breakfast out onto the terrace. This is a shame as we were only there for 1 night and this would have been much nicer than indoors. We saw others dining there only after we had already had breakfast. 2. There is a rule that you...

The property was immaculate. The staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. The pool was fabulous. Room was spacious and bathroom was superb. Every detail had been considered in the room/bathroom. The property was ideally located for a short walk into Souillac to visit the amenities. Electric car charger was a great bonus. We loved this place and would unhesitatingly recommend to others. Merci!

Wow - what a fantastic place! Noel and Evelyne were excellent hosts, really friendly and kind. We stayed in La Borie which was absolutely amazing. The room itself is simple but perfectly comfortable and thoughtfully designed, however it is it's location that is wonderful. Lovely room in an ideal location. Easy short walk to the town for dining options. Clean, comfortable room in a beautiful garden setting with a river at the end. Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. ONE WARNING - this property does not accept credit cards, however there is an ATM nearby.
