This independent hotel has been refurbished and offers a great base for visiting Chateau de Chambord and the central Loire Valley. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and air conditioned. Free parking on site and even the option of an EV charger (7KwH). I would also recommend for a stop over too. The level of serve was a rare treat too. Light menu is also available in the evening too.

We wanted something special for our last night of our 2 week road trip and we found it. A lovely place off the main road on a farm. Very comfortable beds and because of the shutters we were able to shut out the early morning sun. So we got a very good night's rest. In the morning we were greeted by our host with a wonderful basket of croissant, bread and pain au chocolat which we were able to eat on the terrace at the back. Thanks you for making this a perfect end to our holiday.

Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. Sadly, there was only one other person there and this was in the middle of August. We just loved the multi coloured rooms: very different and refreshing. A total gem.

Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

Colivault was exceptional, from the house and grounds to Richard and his family’s warm hospitality. This is one place we will definitely return to again and again. The rooms are luxurious, the breakfast was plentiful, served outside in the dappled sunlit garden and the pool was delightful. Pet friendly accommodation is hard to find of this high calibre. Wonderful French charm, it’s easy to see why so many guests fall in love with Colivault. 10/10 , 5 stars, we can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

JP is a wonderful host. The accommodation is excellent for families with kids and for anyone, there is a small game room and farm animals, and a special dog named Marcel. You can feel that there was a lot of thinking about everything. Our kids will probably remember this 2 nights stay as the highlight of our 2 weeks trip.

A wonderful hotel that captures authentic rustic French charm, with a lovely, relaxed ambience. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a family suite consisting of two large rooms, connected by a private hallway, with a spacious bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean, the bed linen was of good quality, the beds were very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful, with homemade pastries, as well as English breakfast...

Lovely staff, wonderful breakfast and a perfect setting.

Rooms were functional and comfortable. Breakfast was really good especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.
