Beautiful location, we had nice terrace to sit out on overlooking pool. Not sure all rooms as good. Rooms are in a partially restored village and quite basic but in character. Views of green hills and distant mountains great. We were surprised though that village is some 800 meters above reception and restaurant down steep road . Most people seemed to dive and we walked as we like to try local wine. Restaurant is great and reasonable priced, 60 Euro for tasting menu with local wine for two...

Quiet, suburban area. Host was great, English not so good but neither was my Italian! Managed to communicate. Had breakfast the one morning and it was really good value for E7 each. 12 minute walk to the square. Some noise if guests are awake early but that’s to be expected in a B&B. Shutters on the window kept the room dark when sleeping. A/C worked well and was quiet when I switched the swing function off. Parking was fine.

We arrived after spending a day in Pisa and it was quite humid-hot but as we climbed higher and higher eventually reaching Ca’Luni in Casola in Lunigiana there was a definite fresher air still hot but not humid hot. We were greeted by our hosts whom were most welcoming and spoke very good English which as very helpful as my Italian was a little rusty! The position of Ca’Luni could not be better there is a lovely terraced garden with a small pool ideal for cooling off.

It is a lovely place. The owner goes a long way to make you feel at home: the extra touch of the free drinks in the kitchen was particularly appreciated. I would definitely go back.

Had a quiet room at the back upstairs with a nice big bathroom. Fantastic having wine glasses, a corkscrew and mini fridge in the room, we’re in Italy of course!
Breakfast was good, including great little bread rolls with options of salami, ham cheese. Host was friendly, central area near the beach.

One of my best stays. The staff is super friendly and always happy to help. We ended up extending our stay with one night. Food is amazing made with fresh local ingredients from the local area. Highly recommend!
