Excellent overnight stop. Lovely hosts clean room and a nice breakfast. Shame about the weather as we couldn’t use the pool.

Amazing opportunity to experience life in a stately home - sixteenth century but with all mod cons including a powerful shower in a cave. Do visit.

Fabulous hotel - loved our stay

Rooms were functional and comfortable. Breakfast was really good especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

Great staff and accommodation. Beautiful setting with views everywhere. Just an overall great stay and very relaxing. We stayed at 4 other places during our trip and this was the best.

Grande chambre, propre et bien organisée. Très grand lit, matelas un peu dur mais ça nous allait bien. Resto plutôt bon pour un buffet.

Beautiful French house. Lovely furniture and very comfortable beds. The gardens are full of beautiful trees and flowers. Delicious breakfast and great service. Swimming pool away from the house for weary travellers. A trip back in time and much appreciated.

This independent hotel has been refurbished and offers a great base for visiting Chateau de Chambord and the central Loire Valley. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and air conditioned. Free parking on site and even the option of an EV charger (7KwH). I would also recommend for a stop over too. The level of serve was a rare treat too. Light menu is also available in the evening too.

Colivault was exceptional, from the house and grounds to Richard and his family’s warm hospitality. This is one place we will definitely return to again and again. The rooms are luxurious, the breakfast was plentiful, served outside in the dappled sunlit garden and the pool was delightful. Pet friendly accommodation is hard to find of this high calibre. Wonderful French charm, it’s easy to see why so many guests fall in love with Colivault. 10/10 , 5 stars, we can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Beautiful setting and Edouard and Alexandra were amazing hosts! They’ve recently refurbished their place to a very high standard and my wife even enjoyed a dip in the swimming pool. Situated right next to a gorgeous chateau, we couldn’t have asked for more for our first night of holiday. If we are travelling this way in the future we shall be sure to stay again.
