Bathroom clean; however shower cubicle extremely small. I m glad we are not of a large size. The grouting needed a good clean. An impressive building with some lovely areas; however the old rugs on the floor are extremely tired- looking! A rather tired look throughout the hotel. Staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful."

"My wife and I found this hotel very nice, being newly refurbished. Staff were all very friendly, we had evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed both very much, all in all a very pleasant stay, will definitely be returning."
