This hotel was very spacious, modern and peaceful. Room was comfortable and tasteful. Bed was huge and nice bathroom. Was cleaned every day if required. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and well kept.
Most guests were older couples, mainly German, which meant it was nice and quiet with no loud drunk Brits if you know what I mean 😉.
There was lots of choice at breakfast and dinner and food was of a good quality.

This is our second time to this hotel and we can honestly say that we were not disappointed. Everything was just as amazing as it was last year. The food is to die for, so much to choose from and the quality was like nothing you can compare to. Most hotels don't offer good food and you can usually expect bland food but the riu just makes it top class. The staff are extremely helpful albeit some more than others but overall good. The rooms are spacious and cannot fault the hotel on anything. The...

Great break. Food was really good and varied. The weather was surprisingly good right up to Christmas Day itself which started windy and slightly overcast but soon cleared up. Only issues were lift broken down for a couple of days and bathroom could have done with a decorate/refurb.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, ideally located close to the beach. We decided to go with breakfast only which was very nice. There is the town of Morro Jable 5 minutes taxi ride away which has some lovely restaurants and bars at the seafront. This is where we went for dinner as we didn't want to be "tied" to the hotel every evening. Would definitely recommend the hotel and location.

This was our third stay at the Calypso. There is nothing to say negatively about the hotel.
Many locals and some hotel staff have a better command of German than English because of the number of German guests staying in this area.

A wonderful week with the grown up family. Club Premium, all inclusive was a wonderful experience. The opportunity to enjoy a leisurely buffet breakfast on the terrace of Bar Atlantico - with so much fresh choice every day; followed by a stroll into the town and if you're feeling a little more energetic a walk on to the old town for a drink by the sea wall; walk back along the beach working up an appetite for a lovely leisurely buffet lunch on the terrace again; completing the afternoon by the...

First class property with first class facilities representing excellent value for money on AI basis. The dining and cleaning staff were so friendly and helpful. Only downside was the aloof attitude of the reception staff on arrival and departure who were not even interested enough to ask if we enjoyed our stay. The owners need to address this as it detracts from the other excellent employees.

The hotel is centrally located with everything including the beautiful, long, white-sand beach within walking distance. Very friendly, competent reception staff and a quick check-in experience with no waiting. The room (suite) was very large and well furnished with a separate sitting area. We had a lovely balcony with view to the ocean and light tower. The breakfast and dinner buffets were modest but included something for everyone's taste.

Good food - super swimming pools and other amenities
Lovely climate with the sea warm enough to swim in
Only gripe is that our room was not cleaned on our last full day
and that sewge is used to irrigate gardens

You cannot go far wrong here. If you want heat, sun, a sun bed, good food without the fancy fanfare you cannot go wrong here. This is our 7th time at the hotel. Now.. nothings changed but it needs to. Not going overboard but simple refinements are needed, comfy sofas, strict rules on where to smoke, better lighting of a night time & acoustic panels in the dining hall to lessen the noise. The position of the hotel is right on the best beach in Fuerteventura. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel as soon as we are able. Allessandro and his reception team are...

We had a great 6 night stay in a suite.
Absolutely huge lounge area, bedroom and the biggest round bath ive ever seen!
We had a wonderful wrap around balcony, again huge, with table chairs and 2 sunbeds.
The food was varied and catered for all tastes and nationalities.
The wholechotel was very clean, from rooms to all communal areas.
We'd hired a car and parked just outside on the road which was easy.
Highly recommend.

Additionally, the Smart Shoppingopens in new window tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re notified if prices drop or rooms become available for your ideal stay.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Consider your location: Staying closer to major attractions or city centres can offer convenience, but it often comes with a higher price tag. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between cost and accessibility to the sites you wish to visit. You might also look into independent hotels located a bit further out, which are usually more likely to be affordable and can provide a more authentic experience.
