What a great find! Will definitely stay here again. Was greeted with a huge warm smile on arrival, met the family running the hotel. Everyone who worked here went out of their way to help and with a smile. Nothing was a problem. Room was great, clean and as described. Breakfast was the best I had in a long time with great selection. You won't be disappointed.

The second time I've stayed at the welbeck. I had a decent sea view from my room and everything but okay. The breakfast was ok (although the bacon wasn't that good) but everything else was ok.

We were delighted with our choice. In reality we had a suite of rooms on a single floor, bedroom, lounge, shower room and toilet with extra washing/ drying facilities if soaked and sole use of a fully equipped kitchen for your own meals or purchases. The difference from self catering was that ingredients for a non cooked breakfast were generously provided to produce for yourself. Cindy the owner was unobtrusively available if needed and always helpful.

Not only is the hotel in a great location, it is clean and modern but best of all, friendly. Every member of staff we met was excellent and couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant in the hotel is also excellent, something I've rarely found in hotel restaurants. So good we ate dinner there on two nights.

Very clean hotel, very close to the promenade, staff VERY helpful, both the Manager and the breakfast staff. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of
unusual, tasty choices. Would definitely stay again.
Only slight problem was parking the motorbike as the hotel is on a steep hill

In previous trips on business to IOM I have never really found a hotel that came up to expectations. The Town House has changed all that. It is conveniently positioned near to the centre of town but on the sea front.
The fairly recent conversion work has given an old victorian town house a complete makeover which is stunning.
The suite I had was perfect for a week's stay on business. The lounge area was as large as I have at home. The small kitchen was well equipped so that I could cook my own...

We had a seaview! The staff were lovely, couldn't do enough for us. As ex cabin crew, I have stayed in some great hotels, and I certainly class this as one of the best.

The hotel is located on the Douglas promenade right on the beach. The room we stayed in was a Deluxe Double with a Sea View. The room was very comfortable and we were provided with extra chairs and a table as we were staying for 2 weeks. The views of the by are stunning so a sea view upgrade is well worth it! Breakfast was buffet style and the food was excellent. We also ate in the bar a couple of times where the food was also very good value. The hotel has it's own car park so you do not need...
