We stopped in Geelong as we needed a base before returning our car in Melbourne. We were impressed with the hotel which was really nice. The room/apartment was spacious with a lounge and a separate bedroom. The only issue I had was that access to/from the car park was not as easy as it could have been. To get to reception you either need to take 2 lifts or one plus some stairs which is a bit awkward with 2 cases. Not particularly well signposted where lifts are from where I parked the car.

I am a well travelled hotel stayer, over 50 years of travelling under my belt and the Hilton in Melbourne was one of the best hotels I've stayed in. They let us use the lounge whilst we waited for our room, when we were jet lagged and slept all day, awake all night, they checked up on us to see if we needed anything.
