"The rooms are well sized and very comfortable and spotlessly clean , the only downside here is the water pressure on the shower which is very low . The restaurant and bar area are really nice although the food could be better and it shuts at 8:30 , too early for my thinking . The staff are exceptional , attentive , courteous and very willing to chat to the guests . Been told its being sold so my advice to the new owners is change nothing apart from the restaurant food and opening times ."

"If you are travelling South on the A19 and you want to have a sleepover without hunting about back roads, then The Windmill is a good option. It is reasonably priced and the attached restaurant serves a variety of food (many Italian dishes). The food and libations are not expensive. The Property has a huge car park."

"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting...
