"The location is great, halfway between Windermere railway station and Bowness pier. The room is very big, perfectly clean and comfortable. Even though we were on the ground floor, we had a very nice view of greenery. The bathroom is also very big and clean. The owner is very nice and keen on making guests feel at home. "We have stayed here a couple of times staff always friendly the walk into Bowness on Windermere is lest than 10 minutes walk where there are pub restaurants and shops. And you can take a boat trip on Windermere itself which i recommend to do we will be stopping there again."

"On first seeing the romantic room we did think it was small but the balcony made up for that. They have made the most of the space, not much wardrobe space for long items but there are plenty of hooks up in room and bathroom so hung dresses on there so wasn't a problem. Breakfast was lovely freshly cooked to order and Ian was very friendly and pleasant. Idealy placed for 10 mins walk into Bowness or Windermere. We had a pleasant stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again."
