We stayed 2 nights in order to visit Mont St Michel. It was very convenient. The hotel is an old manor house, very nicely decorated. We were on a floor which had no lift access but I guess that's normal for this kind of old place. They had a lift for some other floors. Our bedroom was very nicely decorated and clean. TV had French and UK channels which was good. The Wifi was OK but not great. We didn't try the breakfast, prefered a walk to the nearby boulangerie. Pontorson is a small town but it...

Our accommodation was in a well decorated house which we enjoyed. Yann and his wife Matilda welcomed us. The house was very clean.

Spent just one night here on a touring holiday in Normandy/Brittany. Village is delightful, quiet and characterful. The hotel staff went the extra mile to be helpful and informative. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and good value.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and in a perfect location. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. Paul was an outstanding host—friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. He gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit and things to do in the area, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Very good location, excellent breakfast, spacious and comfortable rooms. Next to Le Mont Saint-Michel and with a great view of it. I Recommend.

Perfect for a stop over stay

The most beautiful b&b we have ever stayed at. Everything was top quality. The room was beautiful and very clean. The shower was brilliant. Grégory was the perfect host. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, all fresh local produce. We highly recommend La Pichonniere to anyone staying in the area!

Have just returned from a four night stay with my husband at this hotel, We could not fault the friendly service, décor , comfort and cleanliness of this hotel. Facilities excellent too. Our only gripe was that there are not any English language channels on the television -even had there been the obligatory CNN or BBC World News service they would have been preferable to nothing!! We ate dinner the first evening in the hotel restaurant. At a set price of 29 Euros we had a most enjoyable...

Lovely place and beautiful area

We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay in this Chateau. From the moment we entered the drive until we left everything was "wow". The building and grounds were quite a sight and the restoration that has been carried out was sympathetic to the period in the public rooms while providing up to date facilities in the bedrooms. The views across the gardens and over the French countryside were terrific and our hosts were very helpful during our stay.
