Steamboat Springs is the quintessential mountain town but punches above its weight when it comes to restaurants - so many great options. Strawberry Park hot springs are definitely worth a visit but make reservations before you arrive!

Steamboat Springs is crowded and expensive. We were there for the hot springs at Strawberry Park, which were very nice, but very muddy. The local Walmart is tiny, considering the size of the town. The riverfront is very nice for dining.

The town had character, good shopping and a good number of places to eat. Though the drive was a little long from Denver. The shuttle from the hotel only runs to the ski resort and back, a limited evening run to the downtown area would be nice.

"Property was comfortable. The fireplace in the unit was not usable as we were told on check-out. Carrying luggage up 3 flights of stairs was challenging for us."
"Room was a good value for the price. Our room overlooked the river, which was awesome. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the water.
Room had two beds, but also two couches in the corner. Could have slept four people."
"Loved it!! Accommodations were wonderful. Very comfortable beds. Workout facility, sauna, steam room, and pools were great. Lots of hiking and mountain biking in the area during the offseason. "
