Great place just 15 mins outside Santiago de Compostela. Lovely old farmhouse beautifully converted into five en suite guest rooms. The main reception / shared lounge is a beautiful room. Host Susana helpful and pleasant. The place is a common resting point for people walking the Camino de Santiago… so we had a great evening sat in the garden sharing a supermarket bottle of wine with some “pilgrims”. . Clean and comfortable in an excellent location for a beautiful stroll through the park to the historic part of Santiago de Compostela Very helpful staff . Excellent breakfast No frills but it’s very reasonably priced. It’s perfect to explore the city .

Great central location, friendly staff, lovely room, beautifully restaured old building into modern hotel

Lovely stay, room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately we don’t get to use the other facilities as it was only a fleeting visit but we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay

Everything was amazing, the room, location, surrounding options for food, but the best thing was the staff, especially Miguel! He gave me a map of Santiago with all the best places to visit and dine at, he also helped me book a taxi for 5am to go to the airport. Highly recommended this place, I will defiantely stay here again next time I visit!

I know the pictures look a bit basic but Gelmirez was a lovely hotel to stay in. It is conveniently located within walking distance to the historic town centre, there's a supermarket and pharmacy next door which is another big plus. It is simple accommodation, but very clean, modern and comfortable. Hotel reception (especially Irene) have been superstars. So lovely so welcoming, I really had an amazing time. Was even offered to leave some of my stuff with them so I wouldn't have to take all of...

Excellent location , very close to the airport , the food in the restaurant is excellent and the transfer to the airport was very helpful to be included in the room rate

We enjoyed an overnight stay here. Close to the station (but uphill) very comfortable room, very clean. We arrived quite late and it was great to be able to get a drink and snack from the bar. We were able to store our bags there while we went to visit the cathedral. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked good with plenty of sliced ham and cheese, and good value.
