Hotels in Basauri

I cannot rate this hotel and it’s staff highly enough. We visited in the middle of July just after Covid 19 restrictions were lifted. We drove from A Coruna and arrived after midnight. We booked one double room for myself, husband and small dog and a second for our 25 year old daughter. We received the most warm welcome despite the late hour and this continued throughout our stay. Well appointed hotel in a great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Superb breakfast to set you up for the day. Highly recommended.

Really nice room in a nice neighbourhood. Even though I stayed on a Friday night, there wasn't much noise after midnight. I stayed during a heatwave and the air condition was amazing! The water pressure in the shower was perfect too! If I go ever go to Bilbao again, I will try to stay here.

Excellent place and fab location. The online check in was absolutely fine and easy. We added a couple of very late extras (dog, early check in, late check out) and were called to confirm it was all fine. Lovely room with a balcony, wash machine, big telly, fridge and microwave etc. would deffo recommend.

Arrived and was greeted by a helpful and friendly member of staff. Sorry didn’t get his name. He looked at our booking and said why had we booked that room as it was a small one. I explained it was last minute as our previous booking had cancelled on us. He upgraded us , we wouldn’t have asked, without hesitation. The room we were given was great. Lovely helpful staff. Clean rooms and a nice touch of tea and coffee provided at breakfast. Only issue was the hotel was hard to find. Google showing the hotel as permanently closed and there was no obvious signage outside the hotel.

Clean room. Easy parking. Reception staff on this visit excellent. Previous visits very slow.

Excellent all round. States it's 2 star it's definable a 3 star. Room was so warm and the bed very comfortable. Very clean and wonderful staff. Smooth check in and out. Location is superb, fantastic views from my room. Definitely recommend and stay again

We stayed at the Petit Palace Arana for a weekend whilst the BBK Live festival was on. The hotel is in a good position on the edge of the old town and close to the Plaza Nueva. There's plenty of choices of places to eat and drink locally, and the main shopping area is a few minutes' walk away, as is the metro. Really nice hotel in a location handy for the Guggenheim- 10 min walk away. Hotel has a huge atrium and a cafebar and separate restaurant. Small pool on the 6th floor is open air plus male and female saunas for guests use. Bedroom was spacious and bathroom very nice. Air con worked well. Shopping centre on one side of hotel. At the back is a nice park. Great place to stay. Not cheap but you how's things? What you pay for.

We upgraded to the superior king city view rooms and very glad we did completely worth it. Hotel is fantastic and superb location for exploring the whole of Bilbao. Reception very helpful. Only improvement i would suggest is for the terrace staff to be a little more proactive in taking orders as we often had to go finding staff but when order was taken they were pleasant and service was good.

The hotel and my room was spotless, so clean. 5 minute walk from Estacon Intermodal de Bilbao, which is the main bus station, where you can catch busses to the airport and other cities / towns in Spain. (I went on a wonderful day trip to San Sebastian from there). The real stars of the hotel are Javier and Xavier, who work at the reception.
