The hotel is older but kept up well. The staff was very friendly and we had the best hotel breakfast we had experienced since pre-Covid. The rooms were clean and quiet. We would definitely book here again. The only downfall was we were in town for a tournament and had been sitting in bleachers all day. We were really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub but it was broken. Overall, we still really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunate Stay

Unfortunately I have little good to say about this Hampton. Small, old, run down. Even the sign outside only said Ham nn. We were schedule for Wed-Sun, but checked out on Thursday and took a $600 non refundable loss in order to check in at another hotel. Avoid at all costs.

The property was horrible. Plastic folding chairs and plastic folding tables with plastic cloths for lobby furniture. Room keys had not been working for days, so staff needed to escort every guest to their room. I tried to cancel on arrival and they would not let me. I called Expedia and got 2 of 3 rooms refunded by EXPEDIA, but the property would not issue refund. Then the property charged me for the 3rd room after all. To top it off, the property managers lied and told Expedia we had all stayed in our rooms...none of us had, and one guy never even made it to the hotel in the first place! Horrible experience and we went across the street to a much-better Fairfield Inn.
