Last weekend was my first time at the resort. I found the grounds absolutely gorgeous, a very peaceful setting. The location is perfect, close to dining and shopping.

Everything was perfect except the restaurant that was advertised as open 7 days a week was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We did not know that until we went to eat dinner. Very disappointed that we were not told at check-in. Otherwise, we had a lovely visit.

Great place to stay with a family.

This place is really great. Beautiful property. Great place to eat on-site. Staff was friendly. Rooms were clean. Activities for kids. Would love to get back at some point.

The room was clean and easily accessible from the parking lot. The hotel had a clean, beautiful indoor pool. Our room overlooked a lake and the property is breathtaking. Highly recommend!

We stayed here the night after my son's graduation from App State. It was an easy 15 minute ride from Boone, rooms were very clean and spacious, has an excellent on-site restaurant and a beautiful campus for a morning walk with lot of geese, swan and a pretty pond.

Everything was lovely and well designed. The staff were very friendly. The hot tub jets did not put out enough power but it was a nice, large hot tub and the environment was quite pleasing.

Chetola Resort is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The two piece bands that played in the lobby Friday & Saturday nights were entertaining. The food at the Bob Timberlake restaurant was good and the service was excellent.
