Wonderful Hotel
Wonderful location - walking distance to Old Montreal, the village, shopping, Christmas market. The room was so big - kiitchenette, large bedroom, a second room with couch & TV. A full breakfast was included every day. We will absolutely stay here again!

Convenient to Quartier de Spectales and Christmas Market. Outdated amenities but clean. Wear and tear on caulking around tub, stained carpets, only one working elevator. We found a dried contact on the nightstand so obviously dusting is not a priority.

Ok place.
Spacious room. Pretty clean, not perfect. Well located. Included breakfast was great (eggs, sausages, etc.).The staff is friendly. Extra safety measures to insure no intruders in hotel (not in a dangerous neighborhood per say but downtown areas are what they are). Sofa beds are not comfortable at all. No drapes/pillows/blanket in room when we arrived. Staff quickly brought everything when asked but they should definitely change these cheap blankets… Ok stay. Ok price.

Kinchen lady not gentle
The photos in the app to book the hotel do not match the hotel... the carpets are a little worn with time... in the 3 nights I was there I never went down to breakfast but on the last day I went down at 6am to have a coffee with toast and a short, blonde, old lady was very rude when she saw me there... not at all recommended the service of the people in the kitchen

Intense Check-In
This was our second time staying and the lobby was much cleaner than it had been on our first visit. The bedsheets appeared to be brand new which was appreciated. Although the doors, baseboards, and bathroom appear worn, they were clean. We were taken aback, however, by the clerk who checked us in because although professional and efficient, she came across as abrupt and unfriendly. Not characteristics generally expected or valued in front desk staff.

Hotel Faubourg Montreal ...A hidden Gem!!
Staff at front desk were bilingual and very helpful. HOTEL was located in the centre of downtown and close to all amenities. Rooms are clean and beds had crisp quality white linens with extra pillows in closet. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast buffet had a delicious nice variety and staff were easily found in all departments by the many during daylight hours and all were also very kind and attentive ensuring all our needs were met. Nothing ran out on buffet including during rush checkout times. Housekeeping staff were very accomodating. Maintenence staff took seconds to assist and resolve us with television and temperature control issues in room. I feel the hotel has the ability to be a 3.5 or even a 4 star hotel if small changes were made such as english as well as french writtings all ove, dark areas in garage had better lighting for safety reasons, papertowel or a new J-cloth for kitchenettes, more kleenex boxes in room other than bathroom, wipes in bathroom so mascara wearers dont ruin the face clothes. Need salt and pepper shakers in every kitchenette. Also the breakfast buffet needs fresher bagels. Stale and not edible both mornings AND a faster commercial toaster...a Must! Hard boiled eggs need tongues and i watched a man pick up every apple in the basket, caress them, checking for bruises and put everyone back. Ewwwww. A note perhaps instructing guests not to handle fruit. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised and would stay again. I can easily recommend this hotel.Ty

Their parking lot was full. We had to walk 10 min to our parking spot. Not terrible but we didn’t have in and out privileges in the public lot so we had to walk to the lot when we checked out. Would have been nice if they told us ahead of time. Place is a bit run down. Otherwise the place is ok.
