Noisy but good for location

It was a good stay, the town is VERY baseball oriented, which if your used to alot of noise all throughout the day & night, this is your spot. Lots of kids, lots of movement! The staff were so nice & really attentive!

Stay was average. Older hotel. Smoking area right outside the exit door & room was one level above smoking ashtray. I did not realize why I was smelling cigarette smoke until check-out and out of curiosity check the exit door and discovered the smoking area. All smoking areas should be at least 15’ from exit/entrances.

Adjoining room had very noisy and rude people. Slamming doors, barking dog. The hotel was not full so at least they could have left an empty room between guests to allow for a more restful stay.

Would not stay again if i was planning on being there during the day. Housekeeping was EXTREMELY loud in the rooms banging stuff around and yelling to each other from opposite ends of the building. The walls and doors are very thin so if you are a light sleeper, your car parked next to an all night rave might be quieter.

Do not recommend it based on our family stay! Hotel is under renovation with musty dusty smell in hallways, lobby and outdoor pool is closed. Front desk guy knocked our hotel room door after midnight regarding our infant baby’s crying and tired toddler’s noise complaint from next door guest…. Unbelievable 👎👎👎 Breakfast was okay and the breakfast staff was pleasant. Overall we do not recommend this property based on our poor experience.

BE CAREFUL, this hotel is not pro-customer

I booked this hotel a while ago because my son had a tournament in this area however the tournament was canceled and I thought that I canceled the reservation. Unfortunately, I did not. I contacted hotels.com two days before the day that I was supposed to stay asking for help. I contacted hotel.com because I made the reservation through them. Hotel.com tried to contact the hotel to see if they allow a waiver and cancel the booking without penalty. A hotel representative stated that the manager was not available. Hotels.com tried to contact the hotel's manager for 2 days, but they were unable to reach him/her. And of course, the hotel charged me $222.50 for a no-show. I do not and would not recommend this hotel!

I have no idea why this hotel is so expensive, or so highly rated by guests. Our room was not been really cleaned by anyone's standards--the counters were sticky, the bathroom floor had not been mopped in so long that the tub mat was full of dirt from me simply cleaning up a little water on the floor after my shower, there were tons of cobwebs near the air conditioner and window, the window was absolutely filthy. The room was incredibly dark, the air conditioner barely worked, the fridge wasn't cold at all despite being on the coldest setting, the internet was out for most of the night of our stay so I couldn't get any work done, and the toilet was so low anyone over 5 feet tall would have a difficult time getting up and down. Staff was friendly enough checking in, but morning staff was dismissive and rude checking out. My family would definitely never stay here again. Simply not worth the expensive rate.

The first room had a strong, urine-like odor. The staff was helpful and moved us to a new room, but the conditions were only slightly better. Since it was just for one night, we decided to make do. The hallway carpets were noticeably worn and in poor condition. There are plenty of hotel options in this area, but we chose this one because it’s a Hampton Inn. The price was also higher than similar nearby hotels, which made the experience even more disappointing. This stay has completely changed our perception of the Hampton Inn brand—we won’t be falling for the name again in the future.
