If you’re into historic buildings and looking for a sweet getaway, this is a great place to stay. Lots of period appropriate pieces to compliment the historic house with great, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast. I went with my spouse for a short weekend and we loved how cozy it felt.

This Bed & Breakfast was AMAZING! The property is beautiful and very historic. However, what sets this place above the rest are the people. Johan went above and beyond to make us welcome. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious. When I had a bit of stomach distress one morning Todd met my personal request smoothly. The onsite bar was nice to hang out in. I look forward to returning sometime to stay again.

This was a great place, within walking distance to downtown. the staff/owners were amazing. the breakfasts were creative and delicious. they would probably benefit from a sign on the road as this complex is a half block off the main street.

Cozy at the Bourbon Manor

My girlfriend and I stayed here only one night and the stay was better than I could have imagined. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. We were both elated with everything about the B&B, from it's charm to the comfort and everything in between. There was also a great bar on site that had great wait staff and even better atmosphere. We will definitely be back for more than just one night.

Great experience

Drove 6 hrs, from Chicago to Bardstown on a Thursday. Check in was quick and they secured a dinner reservation for us in town. Overall great experience. The grounds were well kept and interesting. Quiet with luxurious bedding and amenities. We were able to enjoy one of the first warm afternoons of the year by sitting on the main patio sipping wine we brought with us. Enjoyed a cocktail at the bar on the grounds after dinner. Terrific breakfast served in the main house dining room the next morning before leaving. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay.

Charming, Cozy B&B

We stayed at the Bourbon Manor for one night on our Bourbon Trail trek. The room was comfortable, clean, and cool despite the July heat. Todd was a gracious host, got us easily checked in/out, and provide a wonderful breakfast that was delicious, well portioned, and well presented. The grounds of the Bourbon Manor are set back from the main road; despite being within a moderately commercial strip, the grounds do have a feeling of seclusion that adds to the charm. There is a lounge on site, but we arrived to late to take advantage of it. Overall, and excellent B&B - highly recommended if your travels take you through Bardstown!

10/10 Exceptional

We had such an amazing time - we spoke to so many people who were staying in Louisville (45 min away) and driving to the bourbon distilleries. We loved the close walking distance to downtown Bardstown, with great shops and restaurants to explore. Todd and Tyler took exceptional care of us, from start to finish. They were over the top accommodating, and they truly looked to make our experience, and the other guests staying in the B&B experience, top notch. We have already spoke about returning and how we loved the vibe of staying there versus a hotel - there is so much history on that property and it was so much more interesting to learn about that, and hear the locals describe what a great establishment we were staying at. Highly recommend!

Nestled in the heart of Bardstown, small oasis getaway from the main drag: Bourbon Manor. Our stay of one night was a grand success. As the manager of the bnb served delicious drinks with an amiable nature. The rooms were large and spacious and the beds were comfortable. Although there were a lot of other guests, everyone we encountered was wonderful and added to the open nature of the bnb. We went out on the night at Bardstown but returned for more drinks and a small bar made by the manager. Parking is extremely easy and access to downtown is very covenient due to the location. Also, the breakfast served in the morning is excellent and far above any other bed and breakfast we've had. Thanks for a great stay!

Bourbon Manor is top shelf

We stayed 2 nights at Bourbon Manor on a whim last-minute get away. Fortunately, they had a room for us in the main house. Our stay was wonderful. Quiet, elegant, peaceful. Each breakfast was 5 star. The ambiance was historic and quaint. Extremely well appointed and immaculate accommodations. The charm and beauty of a grand old Southern Mansion was well preserved with love and dignity. The owners and staff were very helpful and gracious. A perfect base for our Bourbon trail adventures. Filming of What Would You Do TV show at the Old Talbot Tavern in Bardstown while we were there having dinner. Neat! Great get away.

8/10 Very good

Surprisingly enjoyable

Let me start by saying that I am not a fan of "historic" in lodging. I would prefer to have counter-top space in bathrooms and other modern conveniences. That being said, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bourbon Manor, and we would stay there again. The hospitality and service were really unmatched. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent; our room, while a bit small and located up a narrow stairway in a building adjacent to the main facility, was clean and comfortable. At the end of our stay, I actually rather enjoyed the fact that we were staying in a home which was built in 1810.
