There isn’t much room to hang or store clothing, if you want to take it out of the suitcase. Not many outlets. The room needs freshening up, paint, air vents, window covering. Ok if all you do is sleep there, as it is not a very cozy room. The new owner is friendly and helpful.

Wisconsin Aire Motel New Year review

The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. This is an older hotel that does need some upgrading. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked and there is no cabinet/dresser and/or desk in the room. They heat was not easily controllable so it was warmer than I would have liked. Overall, it was a very good experience but with a little updates and additional amenities it could be an excellent experience in the future.

My wife has always had luck finding diamonds in the rough, but this one was just rough. It looks nice outside, but our room was more like a $25 hotel. Or maybe an by the hour place. And the people lurking around outside made two adult men not want to stay our second night, so we didn’t. I like to support the local, mom and pop operations over the big chains, but this place reminds us why we have to be very careful when doing so.

This is an old school motel. It's in a small town right on a highway and perfect for those who need a place to sleep for the night (or maybe two). Drive up to your door. The room was small, but clean. The AC worked, as did the fridge and microwave. It is older so remodeling hasn't been done. The front desk is not always manned, but staff is just a few steps away and ready to attend. Oscar was on duty when we were there and was very friendly and helpful.

I'm now 70 years old and have been going past this place for decades. Last year I decided to stay here because it was always full when I came to Wisconsin for races at Road America so I figured it was a good place to stay. It has very clean rooms and the staff is friendly, the property however has been in need of a face lift for many years. They have security cameras for the entire parking lot but the room doors only have a lock on the door handle, I was uncomfortable with that even though there seemed little chance of trouble. I've now stayed there twice and will likely stay again when I come back for the same races at this time next year.

I have stayed at this motel numerous times, and each time it is a step lower. This time I was in the apartment in the back. The shower did not drain, after a shower I was standing in 4 inches of dirty water. The staff said the dirt that was at the bottom of the tub was just hard water, it definitely was not. The sink had the same problem, after brushing my teeth, which does not take a lot of water, the sink had water standing in it. I could not change hotels because it was a big weekend up there and no hotels nearby had any rooms at a reasonable price. Thank god it was cool weekend also, they only had a single window AC, and it was in the bathroom. Fans were supposed to move the air around. I will never be going back here again. It used to be a nice place, they need to pick it up a little on the maintenance though.

The room was very clean and inviting to stay in. The room was very affordable. There wasn't a lot of extra perks but we weren't looking for that. Just a nice room to stay in while visiting an airshow. And they definitely delivered. I also greatly appreciated the ability to log into streaming TV. Most places we stay just have live television. That was definitely a plus.

The staff was truly amazing very friendly and helpful with anything I needed. Unfortunately, the room itself was far from satisfactory. Towels were stained and appeared dirty, and even after being switched to what was considered their best room, the couch was in such poor condition I was hesitant to sit on it. While the location felt safe, it’s extremely remote. Getting a cab or even ordering food was nearly impossible, which made the stay very inconvenient. I wouldn’t return primarily due to the location, but the cleanliness of the room was also a major concern.
