Miss Wong Cocktail Bar

Siem Reap Nightlife

Miss Wong Cocktail Bar is a classy Siem Reap nightlife venue that’s famed for its extensive range of cocktails with an Asian twist, infused gins and imported beers. Tucked away from the bustling Pub Street, this 1920s Shanghainese-style bar features colourful paper lanterns, black lacquer screens, tasteful antiques, and cosy leather booths with instrumental music playing unobtrusively in the background. On Saturdays, resident DJ Sakura Boom plays a good mix of lounge and chill-out tunes from 9pm onwards.

Miss Wong Cocktail Bar’s signature concoctions cost from US$5. Standouts include China White (jasmine tea syrup, lychees, Tanqueray gin and Cinzano Bianco), Indochine Martini (vodka, pineapple juice and ginger cognac liqueur), and Miss Wong Punch (white rum, St. James Amber, triple sec and cranberry, pineapple, lime, and mango juice). Imported wines are available by the bottle and glass, including Le Grande Noir Chardonnay, Allan Scott Sauvignon Blanc, Redbank Long Paddock Shiraz, and Yalumba Sangiovese Rose.

Complementing the unique cocktails at Miss Wong are authentic Asian snacks such as barbecued duck pancakes (US$4) and pork sliders (US$4.50), as well as a selection of dim sum such as steamed shrimp har gow (dumplings), fried chicken wonton, and fried vegetarian spring rolls. For something more substantial, try the honey soy pork belly with yellow noodles or wine-flavoured chicken thigh served with chicken broth, bok choy and jasmine rice.

A 5-minute walk from Angkor Night Market, Miss Wong Cocktail Bar’s atmospheric setting and excellent service make for an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy a relaxing night after exploring Angkor Wat.
