Queen Emma Bridge, also known as the Swinging Old Lady, is a historic bridge in town connecting the 2 halves of Willemstad, and it's truly a sight to behold. You and your partner may find a walk along this bridge to be quite romantic, especially during the night when its arches are illuminated by lights.
The bridge itself is supported by 16 pontoon boats and opens laterally to make room for ships to pass through. If you find yourself needing to cross to the other side of Willemstad while the bridge is open, water taxis are available nearby. You'll find the bridge in southern Willemstad.

Landhuis Chobolobo

The Landhuis Chobolobo distillery is where Curacao liqueur is made using Laraha oranges, a unique type of orange only grown on this island, and it's open for tours and tastings. When you visit, you'll be able to learn all about the process of making this liqueur from tours that take about an hour to finish.
On your tour, you'll notice that the oranges don't exactly look very orange. When the Spanish first arrived more than 5 centuries ago, they brought Valencia oranges. Over time, they changed into Curacao oranges with a green tint to them. See for yourself in Willemstad.
