Highlights of the Viking Museum

The Viking Museum is home to the exhibition The Vikings' Aros, which can be found on top of the old Viking town. Travel back in time on an exciting adventure with each step you take down the stairs. You will be able to see the layers of rubbish from hundreds of years of town life, and your journey through the soil layers will be marked by the respective years.

Down in the Viking Museum, you will be standing on the same surface where the Viking streets and alleys once stood over 1000 years ago. Get a unique perspective into the world of the Vikings through this exhibition, which is based on the actual excavations that took place on this very site.
