Nightlife in Lantau Island

Nightlife on Lantau Island isn’t one that you would compare to that of Hong Kong’s central districts, such as Kowloon or Sheung Wan on Hong Kong Island. This is because most of the places to head to for a good drink on Lantau Island are either in the airport or at hotels around the main area of Tung Chung.

You can head down to the outlying corners of Lantau Island and discover some great watering holes, snugly located along village roads such as in Pui O, on the island’s south. There are some more great options in Mui Wo located east of Lantau Island, many of which overlook sandy bays.
