Jeonjuhyanggyo Local Confucian School

Jeonjuhyanggyo is a place where you can see and experience the cradle of education that taught scholars to study Confucianism during the Joseon Dynasty. Hyanggyo was a national local education institution during the Goryeo and Joseon periods and where Confucius’ teachings were passed on. Among all hyanggyo around the country, Jeonjuhyanggyo is one of few places that still maintain the original shape of Hyanggyo.
Benevolence, righteousness, propriety and wisdom of Confucianism that scholars of the time pursued are being taught at Sunday schools, etiquette classes, and traditional culture schools. People can have traditional wedding ceremonies here so, if you are lucky, you will be able to witness a traditional wedding. Jeonju Hanok Rail Bike

Jeonju Hanok Rail Bike is a unique experience in which you can ride a bicycle around the Hanok Village on a railway. The rail bike runs a distance of 3.4 km at speeds of 15 to 20 kmh. It is also nice to take commemorative photos with colourful bikes, pinwheels and other objects located near the rail bike platform.
