Patong Beach, the most popular resort town in Phuket, has an outstanding choice of dining options. From Thai to Italian to French to Arabian to German to Indian to vegetarian, this cosmopolitan town has venues to satisfy the choosiest of customers. Being a popular tourist spot, the prices are comparatively high, though the quality often is, too.

Our list of the best Patong restaurants features specifically our recommendations of the best places to dine in the city – the places that we choose ourselves or suggest to our friends and family. While this certainly includes some of the high-quality, high-cost places, we've also picked a few little-known budget Thai restaurants to make sure that our list is representative of the choice available.

Home Kitchen, Bar & Bed is the project of the multitalented and hypercreative Chef Daniel Isberg. He opened this restaurant, lounge bar and boutique hotel in the northern part of Patong Bay in August 2014.

Set in a 2-storey building with the second floor shaped like an upside-down boat, the venue is highly original and fashionable – a great place for a stylish sundowner before a fine dinner.
