Exceptional 10.0
Great location

Good 6.0
Room was very disappointing, very tired and dated. Required a double but was given a dounle and a single taking up too muck room. I did ask for an upgrade which i wild have paid for but was told nothing was available. Carpet was very stained with mould and mildew round the window which we could not open. Tbe room was terrinly stuffy. Bathroom was very grubby with far too much black mould around the the bath and over head shower. Certainly not worth £133 per night. The common areas of the hotel were much better. Breakfast buffet was very good and the breakfast staff were lovely and helpful. Hotel was directly across from the Christmas markets hence the reason for choosing this hotel. Sadly the travel lodge behind the hotel would have been better cleanliness wise.

Cheap and well located. Room tired and grubby.

Great price, great location but a little tired
Booked several months ago, price was amazing especially so close to Xmas. Location is outstanding. Like other reviewers I would say that the rooms are quite dated and in need of an update to match the contemporary feel of the reception area. My booking actually stated 3 twin room but upon arrival, only one of them was a twin. As it happened it wasn't an issue and for the price I wasn't going to complain but would suggest others be wary they get what they reserved. I overheard 2 other residents complain about similar problems. The twin room we did have appeared to be for elderly residents complete with hand rails and panic alarms. We were not elderly so that was confusing. Finally, for a city hotel bar at Christmas time not to have prosecco in stock seemed bizarre quite frankly.

Poor 2.0
The room we got was very small and in poor upkeep first impress the room looked tired. There was only one bath towel in a double room which is unacceptable. The whole experience was disappointing. The only thing that was a plus was the location .
