We have stayed at this hotel many times and find that it meets our need of a quiet few days away and a spa to relax in. The rooms are spacious with tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge. Large comfortable bed, warm room and plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Very helpful staff and plenty of parking.

Hotel was good value for an overnight stay. However the premises are tired and in need of a refurbish. The bar and restaurant were understaffed and the poor staff who were working were under too much pressure consequently drinks didn’t arrive and when they did they were wrong and we had to go to the bar ourselves to rectify it. The understaffing made for a long wait between our starters and main course and we were then overcharged. Breakfast was okay.

Front desk person was very friendly, informative and helpful. However, when we arrived at the pool it was unfortunately very unclean with brown scum around the water level line, someone had even scrawled in writing in the oily residue. Horrible smell around the poolside and the water so murky you couldn't see to the bottom. Room was OK, bed comfortable enough. We didn't book for dinner and got turned away, which was disappointing. Breakfast OK.

It was a lovely stay with my son and my partner. The room was spacious and clean. The bathrobes and slippers are nice extras. Lovely surroundings/grounds to the hotel. Staff were overall nice however when we arrived (early before our check in), the lady didn't seem friendly or pleasant at first and welcoming. When i said and acknowledged that we have arrived way early before check in, she changed her tone and was more polite. We wanted to stay a the hotel to relax in the bar before check in but there was no staff at the bar. However i would definitely stay here again.
