We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool.
The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu.

The staff were very friendly. It’s was also a relaxing venue. The views from the Hotel were beautiful. The town is lovely and only a short walk. The room was nice and the shower/bath was very good. The breakfasts were excellent. We ate in the hotel on one occasion and the meal was poor and seriously over priced.

Excellent staff from before check in and all through our stay, Gareth especially, the way he is always on the ball, if needs be the jacket comes off and he will serve behind the bar. All the staff blend together without a glitch. The same menu for three consecutive days was a big let down! The room and house keeping was perfect.
